Lucky o’ Leprechaun Kids’ Book Review

Here’s some themed books that are more enjoyable than a pot of gold! You can watch them for free as read alouds on You Tube which is luckier than a four-leaf clover if you ask me.

The Leprechaun’s Gold by: Pamela Duncan Edwards tells of the devious methods that Young Tom stoops to in order to ensure that he wins the harp contest against his teacher, Old Pat. A pair of Leprechauns sets things right in the end, but you’ll never believe how until you finish reading this tale.

Jamie O’Rourke and the Pooka by: Tomie DePaola introduces us to the laziest man in all Ireland. When old Jamie has to take care of himself for the first time in years a Pooka appears to teach him a lesson about cleaning up after himself.

In Jamie O’Rourke and the Big Potato by: Tomie De Paola that lazy rascal Jamie is back again. This time he learns his lesson from a magic potato seed that bigger is not always better.

Hope you enjoyed a wee bit o’ fun with your kids this St. Patrick’s Day.

Cheers!

Love,

Marie
